Introduction and Pastoral Dance (Trumpet)

Introduction and Pastoral Dance (1'40 ") is a short composition for Bb trumpet and piano, level L4. As the title suggests, the work contains a short introduction, followed by a national dance. I wrote this dance in the classical style. Despite the seemingly simple melody, the work will certainly be a challenge for the young trumpet players!

The work was written in the context of my composer in residence at vzw De Luchtbrug and will this year serve as a compulsory work in the academy for the performing arts in Aalst.
