Longing for my homeland (Soprano/Tenor Sax)

The work "Longing for my homeland" is a two-part composition that describes the desire for a safe haven, a feeling that unfortunately does not seem obvious in these times. Images of people fleeing violence, oppression, terror and war leave no one untouched. Feelings of disbelief, sadness, anger and incomprehension take the upper hand. A secure and safe home seems further than ever, the desire for it becomes all the stronger.

The work is dedicated to the Human Rights Watch and all organizations that work for human rights on a daily basis.
